Stellenbosch FC have announced a new long-term deal partnership with Umbro, ending their seven-season association with Le Coq Sportif.

What happened?

The Cape Winelands outfit will be kitted out by the Manchester-founded brand from the 2026–27 season. The agreement will see Stellenbosch FC supplied with official match kits, training wear, and lifestyle apparel.

Why it matters for Stellenbosch FC

Umbro previously partnered with Stellenbosch during a defining moment in the club's history, playing a key role in their successful 2018–19 National First Division campaign that ended in promotion to South Africa’s top flight.

What comes next?

The move also signals the end of an era with Le Coq Sportif, who have dressed the Maroon and Gold since their promotion to the Premiership in 2019. That period proved transformative: Stellenbosch not only lifted their first major trophy in the Carling Knockout but also established themselves as one of the Premier Soccer League's most consistent and competitive sides.
