Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of Tshegofatso Mabasa, Kobamelo Kodisang, and Mosa Lebusa.

What happened?

The trio joins the team ahead of their Betway Premiership campaign restart against Sekhukhune.

New coach Gavin Hunt welcomes striker Tshegofatso Mabasa on loan from Orlando Pirates and winger Kobamelo Kodisang from Mamelodi Sundowns, also on loan.

Why it matters for Stellenbosch FC

Stellenbosch have also signed free agent defender Mosa Lebusa, who left Sundowns earlier this month.

CEO Rob Benadie said: 'Our club and new head coach are extremely pleased to bring in players of the calibre of Mabasa, Kodisang, and Lebusa.'

These signings represent a clear statement of intent to improve this season. Mabasa had fallen out of favour at Pirates, making only a handful of appearances this season.
